Cast Members work closely and effectively together to get the job done and offer high service level.  Important to make the team collaborate and perform as one. Teambuilding activities are vital to success. It builds trust, mitigates conflict, encourages communication, and increases collaboration. Effective team building means more engaged employees, which is good for company culture and for the engagement of all Cast Members.

Becoming an Ubuntopia Leader

This course helps Ubuntopia leaders build the ‘soft skills’ required to be an effective leader based on Ubuntu Management, including building a positive team culture, fostering inclusion, leading through trust and nurturing creativity and innovation. After all, leadership requires a totally different set of skills than management. Managers rely heavily on position-based authority, in other words, ‘Do it because I’m the boss’. Leaders, on the other hand, incorporate relationship-based authority which emanates from the interaction they have with their individual team members. It is focused more on coaching and mentoring and less on supervision.
